Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding is a British singer and songwriter. The singer was born Elena Jane Goulding on 30 December 1986 in Hereford. Ellie Goulding rose quickly to the top with her electronic pop style after she drew the attention of people by releasing "Starry Eyed," along with "Guns and Horses" in 2010. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding has a unique soprano scream, and an aptitude to write songs that are emotional with uplifting lyrics. Similar to her peers Kate Bush or Imogen, she's on the cutting edge in the world of mainstream and the artful independent music. Polydor Records, a major music label, signed Goulding and was making plans to release her debut album.
