Simone Biles
Simone Biles is an American gymnast. Born on March 14, 1997 in Columbus Ohio U.S.A. Being a U.S. female gymnast, Biles was one of the few to achieve four golds in one Games during the 2016 Olympics. She is also the first to hold three world championships in succession. Biles is a native of Spring Texas. Her grandparents Ronald Biles (and her sister Adria) took them in as adoptees. The Biles family grew up in the metropolitan areas of Houston. Simone's love for gymnastics first began at the age of six, during a trip with her day-care group to Bannon Gymnastix. Simone remained in the hands of Aimee Borman's coaching until 2011. Biles took home a gold medal for floor exercises and also a bronze in vault at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010, before advancing to the top level of competition in 2011. A year later Biles was the king of the field. Biles was notable because of her unstoppable performance enthusiastic attitude as well as the amount of effort she introduced in each event--vault bar, uneven bars the balance beam, and the ground exercises.
